What a truly magnificently written story this is between Dominic and Tony. These two head strong, out spoken, dominate men should have never even been in the same car together. But sometimes fate has other plans. The next thing you know, your on the ride of your life. This was a beautifully crafted story about two very strong men who should have never met in the way they did. This wonderful author takes us on a journey that is just incredible. No, it's not all wine and roses but it is, discovery and courage. A remarkable relationship between them that is told in such a way that will keep you glued to your seat wanting to see what's next. I laughed at the banter and cried at the injustices of family and sometimes life. In the end I was left with a wonderful feeling inside, for a fabulous book, that took me on a terrific journey. I loved this book. It was a wonderful love story where both Tony and Dom have to deal with real life issues that come form their family being homophobic or simply believing that being gay is a choice and can be fixed. While they both struggle with family rejection and misunderstandings they manage to fall in love and stand up for themselves. After a horrible accident true love still prevailed!
I really enjoyed Tony & Dom's story. I loved watching them grow closer amid the drama of past hurts and family bs. The author takes you on a beautiful journey of love and growth between two men both who work hard for their HEA. I would recommend this to those who enjoy a beautiful m/m love story.
Though I totally love this book, I can't help but feel somewhat cheated. What happened. Does Tony walk, what does he do for work, what sex is Cara's baby....what happened. Felt just a bit like I lost the last few chapters. What happened, I am not expecting HEA but I want answers. Good book. Great book. But be aware you will be left with questions.
Dom and Tony meet and you think they're just going to either sail in and out of each other's lives or happily fall in love. Unfortunately, that would be way too simple. Instead they have to deal with past losses, homophobia, injury and still keep their love for each other intact. The result is a beautifully written story.
Loved this book, my first (and not last) by this author. Well written, funny, interesting, hot. Both Tony and Dom have issues but not filled with such tremendous angst that it bogs down the story, which so often happens. The backstory appears when it needs to, but the pace moves along well. I am rooting for Tony & Dom, loved them from the first page.
Does it really exist. This story gives us hope that it does. Tony, estranged from his family because he wanted to find his own path not the one laid out by his father. Dom, a man with a broken past that is holding him back. Can these two realize what they have between them before it's too late. Love these two, the chemistry between them, amazing. Supporting characters, excellent. Hope to see more of these group of characters.
I love an author that can write all kinds of stories. This author has switched up genre.
It shows true talent. Sloan Johnson has given us a story that is emotional, funny and shows that love can conquer anything.
Dance with Destiny gave me all the feels I look for in a story. Dom and Tony are what love is all about and add in that they are smokin hot together and will make you melt.
For all of you that love reading M/M books , I promise you will adore this story and these men.
